    If I'm not worried about getting heat into my car, can I bypass the heater core ? Doesn't seem it would affect the rest of the cooling system. HAs anyone done this with any problems? Thanks!

    Maybe I didn't word my question correctly. I know the bearings will fall right out but what about the bearing cups/race that are wedged inside the rotor? I probably need a puller of some sort or use a punch and slowly tap them out? Do I re-use those cups?

    I've done brake jobs on my other car(non-mustang) but there was no bearing in the rotor. So what I really need to know is how to get out the bearings in the mustang. I have the clamp and everything else(torx bit etc.), vacuum bleeder, to remove the caliper and bleed the brakes. Thanks again

    I switched out the Redline I had to Mobil 1 and I have noticed smoother shifts on cold starts and even better when it warms up. Mobil 1 rocks!

    If it's in the rear I can't really say but it's worth asking a mechanic. I know for sure if the suspect tire is in front, it can cause pulling.

    Dark Mesa, that could possibly be the culprit right there. Also, check the pressure on all tires because that can also cause your car to pull one way or the other. Make sure you go with the recommended tire pressure. If you've just driven the car let them cool off a bit before filling them up...

    Sometimes people need to replace one tire and if there's isn't an identical one they usually have to make due with whatever tread the garage has. So, just make sure the brand/tread pattern is the same because problems can arise from mismatched tires.

    I do have heat but it's just not that hot. I wonder if I should run one of those cooling system flush treatments like prestone. So if I go and replace the stat will a gasket be necessary or is RTV sufficient?
