ideal ride height for best handling? is lower always better?

A lower car also has better aero dynamic because less air is getting under the car, thereby allowing less lift and requiring less down force to stay on the road at higher speeds.

    GAS SAVING TIP

Most newer gas pumps compensate for the change in ambient temperature and pressure. In older pumps that is the case, but most gas stations have pretty new pumps.

Progress pics of my light titanium notch

It was pretty miraculous that I found it. It's probly the nicest condition car I've ever seen in that place and it was only out there a couple hours when I nabbed it! If I had waited until the next day, I'm sure it would have been gone.

Progress pics of my light titanium notch

Time for some more progress pics :) My current project I'm working on for the stang is building a Megasquirt. Megasquirt II to be more precise, using the MSII extra code. I am also working on swapping EDIS off of a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis. I have all the parts together now for the swap...

    VIDEO....last weekends late night cruise

Didn't get a whole lot of footage, but I thought I would put it up anyway. Went for a cruise last weekend...my car wasn't running the greatest which is why I would let out of it after a couple seconds. Camera car is a stock MR2 turbo and the Mustang at the end has a 302 with a cobra intake and...

    User friendly tuning software?

You can't just plug your stock ECU in to a lap top and tune it with software. You need either a chip, which you can let somebody else tune....or you can get a TwEECer which will allow you to do a fair bit of tuning yourself, or you can go to a stand alone EFI system which will allow you to tune...

    Seam welding?

Well I could do that, but I doubt that it's worth the trouble of cutting my MM SFC's out just to put in some through-floor style ones.

    Seam welding?

I already have all that stuff on my car guys. I have virtually every piece MM sells for a fox body on my car. I'm basically looking to get as much chassis stiffness out of my car as possible without going to a cage. I know this kind of thing is often performed on track cars and rally cars to...

shaky steering column, and remedy (lol sp?)

Under the dash. There should be 4 nuts holding the steering column on to a frame up there.

    weight of stock front suspension?

Doesn't make sense to me that the stock stuff weighs 85lbs in total and they claim you will lose 75lbs swapping the k-member and a-arms. There is no way that stuff weighs only 10lbs. Maybe their 75lbs claim includes coil overs?

    Seam welding?

I'm always looking for ways to improve the handling on my Mustang, and one project I was wanting to do this winter is seam welding of my car. I have been trying to find information regarding this but pretty much every car forum I frequent, as well as google, turns up virtually nothing in...

Build Thread Finally Got Some Work Done - 56k Death

Looks good! Where did you get those valve cover studs? I would love to be done with trying to line the valve cover and gasket up with the holes while trying to put the bolts in. Looks pretty similar to my engine build. Keep the updates coming!
