    Seeing as a Dart block is $2200 cold with no machining, that leaves next to nothing for internals, at least not ones worthy of a 10 second motor. And before I read through this whole thread...I don't see either of those cars running 10's as listed.

    I didn't think anyone else ran 9's in SS? And I understand what Stroked86 is saying, but that car had no plates and clearly was not a street car by any definition. I know for a fact Mike Aldwart, who won the Outlaw class, could have changed his belt, added some ballast, and run in SS too...

    I've done both....and nothing beats stomping down on the pedal, feeling the boost build up while you hold down the transbrake then let go and tear away!! And don't forgt you actually have to shift the AOD's at the track anyways. Unlike my Lightning that you simply punch and go!
