Other mustang seats and 300zx are the two easiest. Both bolt right to the stock slides.

    Four eyed coupes?

It is a carbed 351 86. I am staying carbed and building the car with all spare parts( I have a bunch of parts). Engine and trans are both coming out. Doors and trunk lid are both perfect. Only thing being bought is chassis stiffening. I may build my own street cage for it as well.

    like dropping anchor mid-track

Funnel web is too big for most drag engines. What fuel pump are you running? I would bet you are running out of gas.

    Lower intake recommendation??

I would go with a weiand stealth. And the reason for the swap is the extra 50 hp at the wheels. At least that would be my guess anyway. If this is your primary driver I wouldnt do it. But if not, why not.

    Flowmaster vs Dynomax

Buy what YOU like!!!! Listening to someone elses car is fine but keep in mind that your engine is an air compressor. The more air you move through it the more the sound changes. Unless you have the exact same Intake, heads, cam, headers, mid pipe and mufflers it will not sound the same. I was...

    cleaning my a/c compressor

He's not crazy, I have seen the covers as well. To answer the original question: Use wheel cleaner on it. The stuff kicks ass on bare aluminum. Be careful not to get it on the polished or plated or you will be re-polishing.

    maaco bc/cc quality questions

For a non metallic, Single stage is the ****. Honestly of all the paint I have sprayed, Centari is one of the best spraying paints I have ever touched. It is the base line DuPont for those of you that do not know. And Omni(PPG's baseline) is a close second. And $300 is still cheap for a gallon...

The project I didn't mean to have.

Um.... NO!!!! No Krylon, Dutch boy, Dupli color or even the ever popular Rustoleum. No brushes or rollers where used. I have an air compressor and a HVLP spray gun. I grew up in a body shop. Picked up a thing or two along the way.
