    Be careful spraying on a tuned car. The timing advance is programmed in the chip or computer and may not be retarded enough by simply changing base timing. Joe

    Mike, I would not think the piston would be the issue. The rings should do the sealing, and as long as the piston side wall clearance is in spec, there should be no issues with blow by from a piston alone. Or am I missing something? Joe

    I am have similar HP level, probably a touch more, and have been using a 100hp shot. I have a g force T5 and 31 spline axles. I worry about them every launch, although they have held up so far. One bit of clarification, is the 348rwhp on motor or with the shot? Joe

    Just a quick summit search shows that dss probably has the best selection for 351 pistons. Not a huge fan of their stuff, but at your power levels you would probably be just fine. Joe

    I don't think that's enough difference to matter on compression ratio. Are they made of the same grade aluminum? If not, I would choose the stronger grade and I would also look at the ring land thickness at the narrowest point, since you are boosted. Joe
