I may have misinterpreted his last post, but I think he may have taken his ball and went home.

I guess that is what I don't understand. Its obviously not a 7:1 ratio of the jet size, so what's the relation? 7:1 nitrous pph vs. Fuel pph? Joe

I honestly just get tired of hearing your left wing rants, I think the quietness is most hoping you will just move back to the car and we won't have to hear it any longer. Man, that felt good to say! Alright, let's get back to car talk. Joe

@srtthis is there a ratio to shoot for when doing the spreads? I know everything is different depending on fogger, vs plate, vs efr single nozzle, but what is the general consensus? Joe

I wondered the same, but with my limited knowledge I didn't want to question it. From my studies on YB, sometimes a large single on a progressive is easier and safer to tune. My guess is that the 200 shot is just the beginning though. Joe

That's awesome. I have thought about a combo like that, but with more nitrous, lol. Just dreaming on my part, looks good. Keep us updated with track times. Joe

2 kits? I would still love to see a full break down of this engine/build. Is it a grudge type car? Joe

It's all relative. $8k to one is like a $100 to another. But I have to say that there is defiently a line when it comes to spending on an animal. We would rack up a $150k bill all day to fight cancer in a loved one, but I bet no one on here would do that for a dog. Joe

My daughter was born in April 2011. In Nov. 2011 my wife and I decided we needed a getaway to ourselves and we went to Asheville. I remember finding this thread one night at the hotel and I stayed up reading the then 20+ pages and being so sucked in. My daughter is going on 8 now, lol. Joe

Apparently in Georgia you don't even have to be that close. You just file a lawsuit if you didn't win. Mellinials get a lot of crap over expecting to have stuff handed to them, but apparently it's not just that generation. Joe

Should I change subframe conn ?

I wouldn't mess with it. If anything you could fab up a set of seat braces and weld them in. Joe

Sorry to hear Dave. If you need me to come get the booger and hide it until the divorce is over just let me know. ;) Joe

    Engine build questions

Two thoughts: 1 he re-used 150k mile lifters and one failed. Or 2, and most likely given track record, he over revved the motor and floated the valves and lifters. Joe

    Engine build questions

My brother n law built a 347 with the top end kit way back in the day before there was a stage 2 or 3 cam. It was the old twisted wedge heads, intake and stage 1 cam. He drove that engine for a year or so before he ate a lifter. He rebuilt it with a 282 extreme energy cam and systemax intake...

    Engine build questions

I think there are better options out there if HP is the name of the game. If you buy it as a kit, the springs should be matched to the cam, but you may want to call Trickflow and get their recommendation. There is no guarantee on pushrod lengths. You need to measure and may end up with a...

Why hasn’t somebody came up with?..................

Back when I was looking at these they were pretty much done producing. I considered trying to make my own. To me the metal looks a little thin and could stand to be thicker. Joe

Here ya go, little different than your design, but pretty close to your idea.
