Theyre called centercaps. Check ebay for them. Theyre usually just a pony or cobra, but you might be able to get some custom made.

$500 kit seems like pretty good deal if the transmission is good and if all the parts are correct and in good shape. used T5s can be had for pretty cheap on local mustang forums(200ish).... but that kit is probably a good deal
I used it and it worked awesome. Heat gun and patience!!!! Try checking on your local car forums, you might find someone renting one out. I found one to use for free on a local SVT forum.
ive seen people put viper spec t56's into terminators... so the mounts should be the same? i always thought they were the same housings, just different internals?
Wow, i saw that episode the other day and the car looks awesome. When your car was missing did you ever think that you could possibly be on Overhaulin? or did it not even cross your mind?
as said above, HIDs pull their power directly from the battery, and has a fuse and relay built into the wiring. It only connects to one of the stock headlight plugs, and thats where it gets the signal from the switch.

Its offset about 1.5" to the passenger side. Which from my understanding is normal, giving more room to the driver (trans tunnel), and weight distribution. Not sure if this is true on our year cars tho...? Oh well, it should be fine.
