    "Safe" nitrous levels?

I don't know alot about nitrous but this thread is pretty informative. Something not covered regarding the window switch and WOT switch. How are they used in conjunction? Am i correct in assuming that the window switch turns the nitrous on at 1 rpm and off at a 2nd rpm? If so, how does the...

T' EFI return line into pump supply

The recirculation of fuel is used in some semi's to aid in raising the supply fuel temperature in cold ambients. A large deisel engine is most certianly wouldn't want to suck air. http://www.houstonfreightliner.com/news/fabs/FAB020%20-%20InstaHeat.pdf You may be able to come up with a way...

Anyone using MSD Blaster2 coil with Pertronix ignition?

Yes, you will need to use the ballast resister. The ballest resister lowers the voltage going to the coil so that it doesnt fry. Some coils are designed to not need a ballast resister...and others do, if it came with a resister then you need to use it. You will want to wire the power for the...

    clarke welder

I've been told this as well. I have a 220v Clarke, I've had no problems with it. I just don't reccomend using flux core wire...i converted mine to gas.

    rear end stuck together

The center section you are trying to pull out is being held in place by the axle shafts. Don't use any more force to try and yank it out of there. If you want it to move you will have to pull the axle shafts out of the ends of the tubes.

Removing side vents from 67 coupe

Also, the nut is just a sheet metal stamping, not a real nut so dont over do it. Make sure you have the socket on good and square and when you go to tighten down the "nut" don't over tighten it.

    Need help finding a short--non Ford--long

Check voltages with circuits intact and Currents by breaking them. So what that means is you want to check the current between the post and the lead with the engine off. There may be a small enough draw to not light up your light but enough to bring the battery down after a few days.

    Water leaking in....

Whats to stop rain from getting into the cowl area around where the wiper knob protrudes out of the cowl? Blocking off the cowl vent would definately block most of the water from entering the cowl but maybe just enough is making it in through the wiper hole and then leaking through a rusted...

Drum to disc--New brake pedal assy. needed?

By far the easiest and cheapest solution would be to add a pressure switch to your brake line. You could easily add it in between the master cylinder and dist. block without having to re-flair any lines. Most auto parts stores sell short sections of brake line with both ends pre-flaired...

    Alternator problem?

Voltage and Amperage aren't the same thing. You read 13.5 volts because that is the voltage the alternator is regulated to put out but when it is spinning slow its not putting out enough amps to meet the current requirements for your headlights and your blower motor along with other current...

    Heidts Mustang II Installation Help

What about them adding some crumple zone type strength? I was thinking I'd rather leave them in for a little extra protection in event I run into the back of something (not that I plan to) but I figure it might be nice to maybe save the engine from getting pounded.

So I appologize for sounding a little dense. You say it mounts on the frame but you enlarged the existing holes? If it does infact go on the framerail, which is boxed in, do you fish the u bolt up one hole and down the other? Thanks for your help!

Heidts MII - Progress + Sway Bar Question

LUCAFU1 - I was hoping the MII sway bar would nicely use the original sway bar mounting location but it doesn't immediatly appear to do that. the instructions give a measurement from the front of the crossmember to the rear-most sway bar mounting hole and the set of original holes are too close...

Heidts MII - Progress + Sway Bar Question

Hey all, So I have been working on getting my Heidts kit installed as the job/OT allows time. Everythign has been goining smoothy, I'm real impressed with the quality of the kit. I got the Deluxe kit (tubular A-arms) and I am having an issue with figuring out how to mount the sway bar. The...

Should i rewire while i have the whole car apart?

Do yourself a favor and get a kit with everything already terminated at the fuse block. You will spend more money buying wire than if you just get the kit that incldes the wire. Plus it (should) already be wired correctly and just require youto run each wire to each component. I used painless...
