    Tires will usually break loose at 1800 I believe. On a Non PI car there really isn't much top end power so I would say just let the tranny do the work.

    Your car should run okay without a tune, but get one eventually to make sure that A/F ratio is straight. You might also squeeze some more HP out of a tune.

    My steering wheel has begun noticeably vibrating at cruising speeds. What could the problem be? Tires are pretty new, less than 3000 miles on them so balance shouldn't be a issue. There is no noticeable problem when braking so it's not the rotors. Any other suggestions where I should look...

    You'll need a tuner to recalibrate the speedo after a gear install. It'll be off a few MPH after the gears are installed.

    I have the Steeda version which is actually made by Ford Racing. You can't go wrong with either the Steeda or B&M kit. Don't hate the autos. :nonono:
