Steering Wheel Vibration

My steering wheel has begun noticeably vibrating at cruising speeds. What could the problem be? Tires are pretty new, less than 3000 miles on them so balance shouldn't be a issue. There is no noticeable problem when braking so it's not the rotors. Any other suggestions where I should look? Thanks.

try getting the tires rebalanced. i threw a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on my moms grand marquis and the next time i changed the oil i balanced the tires i had to make some changes. also, make sure that whoever balances teh tires uses a road force balancer. they make a world of difference.

Like already said, re - balance. You may have had a wheel weight come off. Or just a crappy job balancing them the first time. Either that or loose lug nuts.
I agree with that and also you haven't locked up your brakes lately have you? If so you might have flat spotted your tire/s. A flat spotted tire really shows it self at cruising speed.
