Got a job, moving to CT...yikes!

Well all the persistence payed off and I got the job that I've wanted for over a year! I'll be working at KMCA, an architectural model and prototyping firm in New Haven, and I'll be living in the Westville area. So who lives up there and what is there to do mustang wise...meets, shows, auto-x...

Would installing the JLT Performance CAI put my car at risk of water damage?

HAHAHAHA that made me crack up! I have a JLT ram air intake which keeps the filter under the hood. If your worried about deep sea fishing being an issue, get the JLT RAI. I noticed a small seat of the pants gain and the car seems to rev a lot faster now. Definitely a worthwhile $65 craigslist...

*Official "What you got for Christmas" thread*

It seems like I make this thread every year, but I'm always curious what kinda goodies everyone gets! For the Bullitt: MM Urethane bushing kit from the gf, Chemical Guys stuff from my brothers, a 1/2" Craftsman torque wrench from my pops, and a Craftsman drop light and Craftsman ODB2...

    price for spring change?

Good man, its a super easy install, you'll be kicking yourself for not doing it yourself. I'm a pro at spring changes now, if I was down there still I'd be happy to give you a hand. I've probably done over 10 sets at this point hahaha. I hate having friends who know I will work on their cars for...

    price for spring change?

Yea, I'd say thats a fair price, although it's a super easy job to do. It takes me about 2 hours to do all 4 springs taking my time. As for spring compressors, you'll need external compressors because there is no hole in the control arm. Good luck! PS - How's the ole girl doing? Still see it...

can anyone recommend a good car cover for the winter?

I've covered my cars through 6 NJ winters and the cars never got marred or scratched and the covers never got any mold or mildew. It's all about taking care of the cover when it's not in use. The car NEVER gets covered unless its washed and waxed. Because of this, the inside of the cover never...

Where to buy HIDs? And What Temperature?

Whatever you do, DON'T get VVME!!! All of you who have them with no issues consider yourself lucky. I've had FOUR friends in the last 2 years buy kits direct from VVME and they have all been complete ****. Not only that but their customer service is terrible, and they made my friends buy new...

can anyone recommend a good car cover for the winter?

I've got a California Car Cover NOAH cover. It was about $200, its UV resistant, waterproof, ice-proof, etc. I bought the cover 6 years ago when I bought my old '95 GT and I now use it on my Bullitt. I don't have a garage bay to use so the car sits out every winter with the cover on it. When I...

    Project: Harness Bar - PICS!

UPDATE: I've been really busy the last week or so and the weather has been really cold to weld but yesterday it was a little warmer and I made a ton of progress. I fixed the side tabs by welding another piece on the back and drilling the hole a bit higher up. This fixed my problem of the...

Job Search - Maybe you can help

Yes, my school does have a job placement program. I receive emails and Facebook messages from my Industrial Design career advisor letting me know when industrial design jobs become available. Many of them are too far from the area I want to be in, or require candidates with more experience than...

Job Search - Maybe you can help

Ok, short background story on me: I graduated with honors in May from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA degree in Industrial Design. Two months after graduation, I landed a sick job at a toy design firm about 25 minutes from my house. I worked there for almost 3 months, and a...
