    what is best for...

I tried the same Meguires leather wipes you have but I don't care for them at all. Way too greasy and messy for me.

    BEST SEQUENTIAL TAIL LIGHTS ??

That's why I got mine. I was driving to work one morning in my trusty Ranger pickup and I got behind a black GT with them. I ordered mine that same day. Everyone who sees mine comments on how they really like them.

    NHRA Torco Nationals Richmond,VA

+10 on NHRA Drag racing:nice: I've been going to national events since the early 70's. The experience can't be described. You can 'hear' those nitro engines vibrating in you gut and of course the smell when they warm them up in the pits. I've taken several die-hard NASCAR fans who quickly...

    Drive train woes

My experience with dealer mechanics (not just Ford, GM and Chrysler as well) has always been less than stellar:notnice: Even with a car under warranty I'd rather take care of it myself unless it would be a major cost item. Some dealer mechanics are one step away from the automotive department...

Worth Waiting for 2009 Mustangs ????

Yup, wait for the new update in 2010 but then they'll be talking about the new 2014 so maybe you'll want to hold off until then.......................or get one now and enjoy a great Mustang. Tomorrow never comes, enjoy today. It's all there really is.

dented oil pan, now no oil pressure, help!!

Rather than speculating you need to drop the oil pan and see what is going on. The least it will cost you is some time and a pan gasket. I wouldn't take a chance of driving it without knowing for sure what the situation down there is. Good luck!

    BEST SEQUENTIAL TAIL LIGHTS ??

I ordered a set of Web Electronic Products sequential tail lights on Wednesday night. I got a confirmation within an hour that they would ship the next day. The next day I got an email that they were shipped and they arrived today, Friday. That's 2 days from when I ordered them till they...

    Your opinion on other stangs...

    I've been driving, working on, modifying and generally lovin' the heck out of Mustangs since high school (I graduated in 1968 so that's says a lot). I haven't been without one since then. I've had a '67 w/ 289 A code auto, a '73 w/ 351 Cleveland auto, a '74 w/ a 2.3 4-speed, an '85 GT 5.0...

    GT500 wing / spoiler question

Thanks for the reply. Did you install a GT500 wing from Atlanta Mustang and are you happy with it? I really do like the look of it I was just concerned about the long-term quality. Thanks!

    GT500 wing / spoiler question

I really like the look of the GT500 wing and would like to replace my standard one. Does anyone offer a pre-painted wing that utilizes both factory mounting holes? I'm not real sure about the long term reliability of the one that Atlanta Auto sells with it only being held with 2 screws and tape...

Teaching a newbie stick on S197

Just like I taught my son to drive in an 85 5.0 GT; Engine off practice with the clutch and shifting. Then find a BIG empty parking lot and have a lot of patience, you'll need it!

Fixing small nick in leather on steering wheel?

If you have a 'slice' type cut you could use a VERY small drop of Super Glue (use a pin to apply) and that will glue it back together. If its scuffed then get some matching leather polish / stain from a good shoe store and work it in. I'm sure you can make it look better with a little bit of...

Interior help needed with a 2007 GT

Well, here's the update. I got the new seat bottom cover from New Car Take Off on Thursday (they were great to deal with and very fast shipping). This morning I started at 8:30 and was done by 10:00. The new piece is a perfect match and it went on nice and tight and looks factory fresh. What...

    Mustang GT Choices

Side by side there is very little difference between Redfire and DCAR. When they aren't side by side it's almost impossible to tell the difference. I'm partial to Redfire but that's because I own one. You asked about what color to choose from. Well, red, blue, orange...those are actually...

Interior help needed with a 2007 GT

Yeah, the dealer WAS going to replace it but now they say that they will have their 'upholstery guy' repair the cut and not the seat cover itself:notnice: I want it right and the replacement cover I just got is a brand new and a perfect match. I don't want some "mickey mouse super glue fix-it...

Interior help needed with a 2007 GT

I have a 2007 GT premium with the leather interior. I need to replace the bottom cover on the passenger side. It appears that the seat comes out pretty easily by unplugging the seat belt and air bag sensor, removing the two front bolts from the inside and then the two rear bolts from the...
