    Good news!!!

    Dont feel to bad. Ive had my 69 stang since 1992 and Ive probably drove it 5 miles since that time. This year is my goal to drive at least 1000 miles. Good luck with the tranny. Steve69

    With the Exhaust, Are you talking tips on the ends or what? Im running 2.25 exhaust system with some turbo mufflers. I was thinking of maybe replacing the system down the road but it is a new system I have on now. Thanks for the input and I sorry for highjacking the thread. Steve69

    Fuel Cap Question

    Looking for what kind of Mustang Fuel Cap to used under my 69 Mustang pop up Cap. I ordered a Mustang Cap its way to big. It looks like a non Pop Cap, that really looks ugly. Should I be looking of a older ford non Mustang cap that fits the filler Neck? Any Ideas? Thanks

    looking for a 10.5" clutch set with a diaphram pressure plate for a 69 small block.

    How hard is it to remove the spring? I took a look at it and I couldn't tell what was the best way to remove it.

    I just installed a 10" ceterforce II. The clutch works great. What is this about unhooking the spring that goes from the equalizer bar to the the Firewall? I thought that spring helped keep the clutch pedal up? Will this give me a easier pedal? To tell you truth I couldn't tell much...

    alternator upgrade for 390?

    I just did the swap on my 69 Mustang 302. I used a Ford Taurus 3G from a 3.8L 1993. Do a Search for 3G there was a wiring diagram and more detailed info in this forum. It was pretty easy except I had to lengthen the lower Adjuster Bracket. The alternator cost $35.00. Steve69

    New issue of M&F (Ring brothers and JBA)

    I use to live 5 Minutes from the Ring Brothers and Never new that they had Mustang Projects until I opened up the M&F magazine. There place looks like a Bodyshop that you would see in any small town. I can vouch for the Cold Weather in Wisconsin. Heat wave today its going to be 50 degrees.

    Thats great if you live in Southern Cal or Arizona but here in Wisconsin we have 70 degree temps about 3 maybe 4 months out of the year. So its nice to have a nice starting car when its a little colder.

    I Beleive you can use a 3 finger long clutch setup 10.5. or you can use a 10" diaphraph setup with a 157 tooth stock flywheel. I went with a centerforce II diaphraph setup 10". I did it this winter so Im waiting for the snow to melt and the the salt to wash away before I can test it out...
