    Pulled my quarter off and and found that there is a piece that wraps arounds underneath the quarter that keeps water from getting in trunk on vert. You can see it in the picture attached toward the front of the wheelhouse. That back part toward trunk area is rusted away. Not sure what is is...

    Not Too Impressed with 665/66 Qtrs I Got

    I'm probably way too picky. But not too crazy about replacement qtrs I got for my 65/66 vert. There are dings that will need to be worked out and sheet metal I expect is thinner (have not put a gauge on it yet). I don't think they are Dynacorn since the packaging did not have any dyancorn...

    Thanks. Will fab around wheel wells - pretty much like you did on extension fit up - just after the fact. Will use some cardboard as a template. I think the full floor and long pans have the same issue. I bought long pans thinking I would go that route - they had same fitment problem.

    take some pics of the hit. If it ever comes up at resale you can show the extent of the damage. I know what you mean about carfax though. When buying my current 2007 - I woul dnot look at anything that did not have a clean carfax.

    Huge price difference betwwen originla tool and repo $200 a piece. Be cheaper to patch the originals. Does anyone have any experience on how well the repo's fit?

    Decision Time - Full Floors or Long Pans

    Well almost done. Was not too bad. No swearing or big hammer. Did not need to stretch metal. Around wheel wells not too good. But overall happy with results and glad I went with full floor. On another note. Is there another way to post pics w/o running into site limits all the time?

    Right now - I'm leaning toward Sapphire Blue. It was a 66 shelby color. My daughter wanted powder blue. No way am I gonna painted it a girly color after all this work. :) We are trying to find a compromise.
