    THANKS FOR THE FLASH STRANGER

To the original post, unfortunately, blinking seems to be a lost art. Too bad. I always thought that being alerted to anything of concern up ahead was good driving. Many states consider it's illegal, but I never let that stop me. While I don't condone speeding per se, I do consider driving...

Few pics of my latest project

This is funny. I just finished installing my UPR CA's and while I was at it, cleaned up that nasty rusted rear axle also similar to the same way you did. Rustoleum covered with appliance gloss. You did a great job! :nice: If you really want to clean up the tank, you can machine polish it...

    My baby needs a name.

Nemesis wasn't a strong choice for me to start with, but I think you just convinced me that any other name would be better.

    My baby needs a name.

For a long time, I shared that sentiment. It's been 9 years. Time's up.

    My baby needs a name.

So I've been thinking a long tiime for an appropriate name for my ride. I want to name her after the goddess she is. Choose from the list of names, their origins and their meaning.

Yes, Silicone remains flexible so it will fasten while allowing for vibration without losing its bond.

I was under the impression you were using Silicone as suggested above. If I thought otherwise, I would have strongly suggested against it. Silicone sets up fast and is very neat if you take your time and just tack the bezel back in.

That would give a subtle accent to the dash and would tie in well with your billet trim.

The red looks impressive. I like unique ideas like that. Whether or not you should do something else depends on the look of the entire cabin. Post a pic of the interior.

Can someone explain altitude change to me?

I know what you mean about the frustration. Moving here from NY with it's almost sea level tracks and cooler air made a huge difference in performance. Not only do we have the disadvantage of altitude over most other tracks, but also the extreme heat which has just as much of a negative affect...

Jack Recommendations for a Lowered Stang?

Harbor Freight. :) It's a very good idea, but you'll need a low profile jack to reach them. Until then, for the front, you can use the ground effects seam (cringe) about 7" in behind the front tire, or under the control arm. Then you can get a larger lift in to your sub frames or K-member...

    mods for a mod?

Steeda. The other mod was a Magnaflow catted X pipe into a Dynomax cat back. I netted 242 rwhp on a stock '02 w/an auto. Combined with 3.73's really woke up the car without breaking the bank.

    mods for a mod?

If she said no to the gears, then it's no....which means just do it and don't tell her.:p Seriously, they're definately one of the best mods for the money. Underdrive pullies is one of the first mods I did to my car and one of the best improvements for the $. I netted 8 rwhp on the dyno...

Newb needing help on deciding what to do next

The SCT is highly recommended and & sub frames are a must. (3xMM). I can help you with the SCT chip and hand held. PM me if you're interested. I also thought when I was starting out that pulliess got me a real good bang for the buck but maybe people don't use those anymore.
