    68: Are you saying that the lead to the battery should also be an 18 gauge wire fused directly to the positive post connector or that the wire should have an in-line fuse to prevent amp burn out? Or both?

    I just picked up the car from the shop. Had to put a little pressure on them earlier today because they still hadn't replaced the floor pan. They actually did an excellent job. Very pleased with the weld job. Now for the POR! Ha!

    How much clearance is there behind the kick panel (with speaker pod) and the sheet metal? I had a chance to hear a pair of Rockford Fosgate 6.5s today and they blew the 80 and 120 watt Pioneer speakers away. I'm just worried that the Rockford's are too deep.

    Hey, I was talking with a welder yesterday and he recommended riveting the floor pan into place instead of welding it. He stated the temperature of the weld wasn't good for thin sheet metal. Thoughts?
