Wide rear tires, moving rear shock question

Don't get rid of them, even with UCA/LCA's I run 275/40 on 17x9 in rear and I think I have .25" to .5" of clearance on flipped quad shocks, but It's been a while. +18mm offset, unsure of backspacing

I got caught going 94 in a 65 on Thanksgiving. I considered myself lucky that I didn't get felony extracted and taken to jail. I paid the $350, insurance hasn't caught it yet, and i'm up for renewal.. *shrug*.

driveshaft removal -- blocked by pinion nut?

I removed the 4 bolts. In my other mustang, and any other mustang I've worked on, it slid right out. In this car, where the driveshaft meets the flange, I can't get the driveshaft to slide out because it is hitting the pinion nut-- that is sticking out about 3/4" -- so I'm unable to remove...

Hey, I'm in the middle of my t5/ black interior swap -- I have everything done but removing the driveshaft, unbolting the crossmember, and pulling the AOD off the flexplate. The car is up on jackstands. I have the driveshaft to yoke bolts removed, but can't get the driveshaft to move forward...

anyone paint quarterwindow moldings, door moldings, and mirrors?

looks too redneck if it's painted all the same color. I say keep all trim, cowl, etc, factory black, unless you want it to look cheap. edit: I was thinking of repainting all trim / cowl, etc... semi-gloss or gloss black -- I think some guys say it stands out too much, but I haven't seen pics...

    DD a clean stock fox?

I started DD'ing a super clean '91 gt (auto w/ full exhaust, pretty much stock) to replace my wrecked '91 lx, after driving it with some multicolored panels for a few months. I had planned on getting the lx painted / making a project out of it, but ended up stripping it to work on the GT...

    Driving through Fort Smith

I'm originally from Texas -- moving here... a whole different driving experience. Bunch of idiots on the road. I like the lack of emissions / inspection testing -- especially with my offroad-H :) .. but there's a lot of cars that shouldn't be on the road, safety-wise.

    grabbed a new stang

Yeah, When I picked it up I was hoping for a stock hood. It's growing on me though, has to-- it's bolted on and won't be changed anytime soon. :hide: Still like it from the side, nice touch I think. Gotta stay positive about it or it'd gnaw at me. :)
