    I believe the purpose of the Hood padding is to keep heat in during the winter time. I do not have the padding on my Cobra R hood and it has not affected or warped the hood. Also trying to make the scoop funtional is a bad idea, both for water and other debries (sp?) getting in the engine bay...

    I am in the process of doing the same thing....Stage 3 conversion...If I were you I would go with the Pro-kit...It gives a great drop and doesn't put the $300 exhaust tips that close to the ground....I will warn you though, from what I hear, stay away from speed bumps with that side...

    Agreed...the ride quality is not that far from stock...and yeah definatly go with an aftermarket shock and strut set-up, as well as several other suspension upgrades

    Yeah, like i said earlier...I have to steeda sports and I think they give just enough drop to make it noticable and looking good. I was out at pepboys a while back and this cobra followed me in there just to ask me how low i had my car dropped and what brand i went with...it was kinda cool.

    Yeah so....Pulled the new hood off....unbolted the hinges.....and 20 mins later.....Hood is now in line with a "semi-even" gap on both sides..... :D :D :D
