Alignment issue w/ new Hood....HELP!!!

So i hope this is a Tech thing....

I bought a Hood today it is a R2K Cobra R and When i went to pre-fit it, it needs to be pushed to the left in the front about 1cm, this is not an issue with the hood, it was like this with my GT hood as well, any insight would be awesome...I really don't want to have to pay the body shop labor to do something that is possible for me to do...I did run a search but nothing came up.

Can you adjust it any where it bolts to the hinges. If not, maybe you could remove the driver side hinge from the firewall and put some washers behind it to move it forward on that side.

What about the fender? Maybe it needs to re-positioned?
Post some pics of both sides (gap) if you can.

Yeah so....Pulled the new hood off....unbolted the hinges.....and 20 mins later.....Hood is now in line with a "semi-even" gap on both sides.....

nice, just remember you can mess with the fenders, lol, i found out after messing with it for like 2 hours and giving up
