    2 1/2 or 3'' spintech exhaust

    i got a 331 w/ bbk long tube headers, v2-sq trim.. I know my motor can use the 3'' x pipe , but im trying to decide if i want to use the 2 1/2 to create more velocity? whatta ya guys think? which would serve a better purpose for my motor.. this is for the spintech exhaust.. thanks !! combo...

    thanks !! i know the formula to figure out the 1.7 is intake lift / 1.6 = x , x*1.7= intake lift... same as exhaust..

    i just recently got a 331 in place of my 302.. Now i ran a crower cam 15512 with 1.7's... my question is since i got a bigger stroke, will this affect the way my cam sounds, the higher stroke? It sounded pretty nice, but i would like to have a little more choppier cam, will the more cubes...

    IMHO get a 331 w/ 185 afr heads and a nice cam, like tfs stage 2 or even look into afm cams...

    How much HP strokers?

    your leaving out soo much its way to hard to tell you anything.. Look at other people's combo, those will give you ideas.. Ideal 331 and 347 range from 310-345, rear wheel hp..

    1.6 or 1.7 Roller Rockers?

    I have a crower cam part # 15512, its lift with the 1.6 are .496/.512 but since 93 cobras come w/ 1.7's my lift is .527/.544 ... This is used in a 331.. I had this cam in my stock 5.0 and i had my pistons notched, plus it was way too big for my stroke which caused a huge drag in the lower...

    i have a 93 cobra, i wanted to keep my old motor but i blew it up.. !! :( pretty bummed about that.. BUT i got a 331 with an s trim now so im happy :)

    If you were going to have a blown 306 I wouldnt bother with the AFR 165's i would save up a couple more hundred bucks an get the 185's.. IMO ... Do it once, honestly though both heads are great heads... I look at the 165's for a 302 and the 185 for a 331 and up.. but if you are putting a blower...

    does anybody have the specs for this cam? I know its identical to the B-31 cam with the exception of the use of the 1.7 r.r instead of the 1.6 r.r.. I was wondering if anyone is running this cam in a 331 or know anyone who is, and the specs.. Thanks !!

    are you talking about a PMS or something like that? like a computer management system? I will check that webpage at, thanks.. Im tryin to have a show/go car, i got everything polished, chromed and cermachromed in my engine compartment, do they offer this brace polished or a form of polished/chrome?
