    Save somemoney and replace the internals. The stock 4.6 block can take a lot of abuse. I've read anywhere from 1000 to 1200 hp, so I think you're safe with the block. Increase the internals and the crank to forged and call it a day. Spend the cash you save from buying a new block for cams...

    I'd say go with the KB 2.2....but am I the only one who want to S/C their car without the S/C whine? How quiet is the KB below 3500 rpms?...sorry to highjack :D ...to me the best sound is that of the exhaust, not that coming out of the hood compartment.

    Unless you have leaks or turndowns/dumps beneath the car, the smell of gas/exhaust should not reach you if you've got the windows up at a stop or driving along. Sorry to hear that about your wife though. In her case cats would definitely be the way to go.
