According to the directions that came with mine, it needs to be about 4" behind the front u-joint

Help my starter wont shut off!!!

I had the same problem a while back. I changed the solenoid first, but it didn't help. Ended up being the starter itself.

    Stock height with draglites

I have 15x8x5.5 rear and 15x6 on the front. The back tires in the pic are 255/60's, which are too tall in my opinion. I'm gonna switch to a 265/50 or 275/50. Front tires are 215/60, going to a 205/60 next time. Also, I have Eibach drag launch kit on there. Doesn't look lower than stock to...

    Superchargers!

I'm pretty sure I paid about $2500 for my s-trim kit 2 years ago. Now Summit has it for almost $3000.

    Superchargers!

I noticed the price increase as well. Not sure of the reason. If you're in the market for a Novi 1000, check out Jegs. My buddy just ordered one for $1821.99. Summit wanted like $2300 for the same kit. I'm sure the Jegs price will be going up sooner or later though.

Yokohama AVID T4 tires? Good or bad?

I need 2 new front tires for my 92 GT, which has 15x6 Weld Draglites up front. I currently have BFG's on it, but the size I need has been on back order for a while. I was considering the Yokohamas because they got decent reviews on Tirerack.com, and they are reasonably priced. I don't want a...

    Engine Blown?? Huge crack..pics..

My buddy did the exact same thing to his engine last year. I will pretty much guarantee that you also have bent pushrods and valves. He did. I wouldn't risk re-using the cam either.

Need some airbag help, code 34

Thanks, maybe I'll try picking up an airbag to see if that fixes it. I think they can be found used for not too much money. Worth a shot I guess.

What year is your car? If it's a Fox body then there is no code 61. See if this helps: http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/airBag/

    Widest tires on my rims?

I recently decided that having 15" wheels pretty much sucks. BFG stopped making the Radial TA in 265/50, 245/50, and 275/50. There isn't much to chose from these days. I think I'm gonna get drag radials because there the only thing I can find in the size I want.

Pressing new pinion bearing on the pinion shaft

These guys make one that is fairly inexpensive. I think Summit Racing sells it as well. I've never used this particular one myself, but it should get the job done. http://ratech.stores.yahoo.net/noname4.html

Pressing new pinion bearing on the pinion shaft

Oh, OK. You would be better off measuring for proper pinion depth then. Thats the only way to do it right in my opinion. Otherwise you run the risk of having noisy gears, or premature failure.

Pressing new pinion bearing on the pinion shaft

If your last set of gears was professionally installed you should be OK re-using whatever size shim was on there originally. I wouldn't recommend guestimating on what size to use, it can vary some.
