Fun with +0mm offset Bullitt wheels

No. A 9" wide wheel will not fit on the front. The 17x9 w/+24 with a 1" spacer will stick out approximately 1.25" further than the front wheels shown in the pics of my car above.

Fun with +0mm offset Bullitt wheels

Thanks...in those pics the car still has 18x10's and 295/35's on the back. This rubbed so I went smaller instead of raising the car up. You can also try here for late model replica wheels www.mustangtuning.com The wheel backspacing you described is a 9" wheel that will not fit the front...

Fun with +0mm offset Bullitt wheels

My 68 has 18x8 front wheels with 5.42" back spacing plus a 1/4" spacer for a total backspace of approx 5.16". They fit ok without the spacer except the wheel lip rubbed the UCA's (GW) near full lock. On the back I run 18x9 with 5.94" backspacing and no spacers.

    Wheels for my 1969 Fastback

The FR500 will fit. My 68 copue has 18x8 (narrowed 18x9 +36)on the front with a 245/40 tire and a 1/4" spacer to keep the rim off of the upper control arm at full lock. The GW front springs have 1 full coil removed. Your 69 might have enough room for the 18x9 without narrowing. On the...

How tall is your air cleaner?

I run a 2.5" K&N inside a repro hi-po lid and base. The intake is a vic jr with a 1" spacer and a demon carb. Don't know yet if it will clear my 67 Shelby style hood as its out being painted. If not then I can reduce the spacer and/or change to a drop base.

whats a good cam for dragracing and street its going in a 351

If you are running an auto trans with a stock converter and gears (2.80-3.00) thats probably all you want or the low end off the line performance will really suck...been there done that. If you plan on or already have a higher than stock stall converter, or a 4 spd and/or 3.50+ gears I would...

    Shelby fiberglass hood

I bought a glass 67 Shelby style hood for my coupe but resold it since it was crap. Then I bought (eBay) an original steel hood with the 67 Shelby style scoop "professsionally" bonded to it that was " ready for paint". And after an additional 20 hours of work it is finally ready for paint.

    numbers on 351 block ?

The only thing I about that number is the D2 means the year 1972. That is a good block made before the main webs were shrunk in 74(?)

    Let me see your trunk

Hi 67coupe351W...I noticed the rear down bar from the roll bar in your trunk picture. I just started a new thread regarding roll bars for 67/68 coupes. Please check it out and help if you can. Thanks!

Post up your roll bar/cage pics

I am almost done with my coupe and am to the point where I need to put the seatbelts in. But since a bit of irresponsible driving may be in my near future the stock belts do not seem to be the smart way to go. Plus I want to replace the stock buckets with Scat Procars, so a 4 pt harnesses would...
