    thanks I showed the shop a pick of a 69 Chevelle that I saw at an indoor show in January...it had a similar set up design wise (but had a TV in the floor)...told them I'd like it done like that...so that's what they did. Got the spare tire idea from watching My Classic Car a few years...

    another thought if a stock GT low mileage vert made many many 1/4 mile passes during it's brief ownership...especially if it's being launched hard...it will twist the frame a bit...and could cause some of the problems being described:shrug:

    Very close to buying a 6psi non-ic KB

    I'm running a non-cooled 1.7 KB at 6psi. 340 at the wheels. had 4:10s in the ass before the KB...and figured that power with those gears would make for a real fun street car and it sure does:nice:

    Wheel Spacers

    I'm running 9.5" AR torque thrust IIs with 275/40/17s with 1" hubcentric spacers on the rear they sit flush and look real sweet...everytime I look at a stock set up now, the rears look pushed in way too far

    Anyone have stock HP #'S

    We dynoed mine before the blower. My mods were a Basanni catted X-pipe and a Borla cat-back, and a K&N filter in the stock air box with the snorkle intact. It was a dynojet...and it had to be at least 100 degrees in the shop...pretty humid too. 223 at the wheels...and it's a 5 speed.

    In dash guages for a KB SC...

    I put my gages on the pillar....if I had to do it again, I'd go with the aftermarket piece that replaces the bezel around the instrument cluster. That way your eyes aren't looking all over the damn interior to monitor things.
