    Lower temp. thermostat

    It helps. Particularly in hot weather. Cooler is better. I would also dump a bottle of Amsol Waterwetter down the radiator when you do a flush and replace the coolant.

    The frame works fine in a crash. THe only part of a Mustang that will cause you to worry, and should, is a rearender. If you see anyone coming up in your rear mirror and they're not going to stop, find someway to get the hell out of the way. There's not much back there to stop a crash.

    Clean out the IAC valve. I'd lay money that's your issue. Mine did the exact same thing and I swore it was a fuel delivery problem. Drove me insane until a buddy suggested to give the IAC a clean out. Whaddya know..? Ran like a dream afterward.

    I had this same situation happen to me. Cleaned up the IAC and swapped out plugs and after I fired it up, it would quit. Drove me nuts. Pull the IAC and either re-clean it or change it out completly. 99% sure thats where your problem is. That damn thing can shut the engine down no problem...
