can a auto fox still haul the mail?

Go to the track, alot of stangs, especially the faster ones are auto.Me personally, prefer a manual tranny, but if i were to build a crazy horsepower drag only car ,would put a auto in it.But yes there are some fast autos on the street, anything can go fast with enough cash.

    79 mustang intake question

If your gonna stick with a 2 barrel you must not really be interested in performance,so just leave it stock and take it to car shows:shrug:

    79 mustang intake question

More info would be better about the car, daily driver or weekend/nice weather? plans?emissions requirements? Those 302's were really underpowered. But a performer intake and 600-650 holley 4 barrel would help out.

    302 performance

Go for the 351,its not too much heavier, its a stronger block and if you stroke it to a 408 with good heads and cam,you should be a LOW 10 second ride easily.

    Ford Mustang 79-93 90 91 5.0L V8 T3/T4 Twin Turbo Kit

I have always been curious about these ebay kits, from what people that ACTUALLY have them say ,they dont sound too bad.I think everybody expects these kits to be as easy to install as changing a shift nob without ANY kind of thinking. That s when you get the ''I heard'' they suck ass stories.

    Odd Dyno Results

I wouldnt spin the engine to 7000rpm too often, unless your confident the valvetrain and bottom end can handle it.Best bet is to go to a real dyno and work with what you have, see what the dyno reveals and go from there.I hope the shop that did your last dyno didnt charge you.

    Odd Dyno Results

He only needs to change the cam if he WANTS a 7000rpm monster, otherwise a efi performer intake and tune should put him at similar power levels as before. If he thinks slapping a victor efi intake alone is gonna make it pull to 7000rpm alone, its not.In that case he should get a cam.He has to...

    Odd Dyno Results

So your saying a cam needs to be ground for the intake being used?i always thought a cam was ground to compliment the intake and heads as a whole package.Your article is about intake designs,if you look at his old set-up with a carb he used a performer rpm(1500-6500 rpm band). Now he is using a...
