    Yay For Coolant Everywhere!!!

I've had this issue before, but cured it with a new radiator cap, but here's the issue and question I have: So I noticed a small steaming/streaming out of the radiator and my buddy instantly says, looks like you got a radiator leak. I concurred. So I was thinkin new radiator this weekend...

Any tips for fuel pump replacement

ah boy are you in luck, I just did mine 2 weeks ago. It took me and a buddy like 4 hours to do it. Neither of us had done it before. Take out the fuel filter. Take out the bolts inside the gas fill and there are also 4 on the backside of that underneath the car. Loosen the bolts to...

    Electric Fan Problem

I have a controller from auto zone. I myself think the wiring isn't big enough as well on the controller; as for the wiring everywhere else, it is correctly run and is a bigger gauge than the controller as well. I'm gonna get rid of the controller and just run a toggle for now until I can get...

Why you ALWAYS keep the Stang clean!!

AWESOME!!!!!! I tried to get mine on tv once when they were doing a story in our downtown area. I kept driving around the block, but every time I did the exhaust must have drown out his sound or something, because it was like they had to start reshooting. Then once again here I come. The...

    Electric Fan Problem

After getting my car up and running one of the last things I gotta worry about is the stupid electric fan. I have a mark viii fan in and hooked up with a temp controller, but the damn thing keeps burning through fuses. I am pretty sure it's from the 100a or so that the fan requires to start...

    Fuel pump install Review

Well I replaced the fuel pump on my 93 over the weekend and it went well enough I suppose. As the first time doing anything on one of these cars, it took longer than it shoulda. We had trouble getting the damn locking ring off of the pump, but with some good wacks with a bunch and a rubber...

    Top End Swap Questions (H/C/I)

definitely agree with the ziploc bag thing, makes sure you keep the bolts in check. I spent about three days on mine, since it was the first time I did it. Of course after you do it once you can do it in less time, but just take your time and make sure you got everything documented as far as...

    Shocks

thanks, I was actuallly gonna ask about the tokico hps, they seem to be pretty inexpensive and are popular for just a basic upgrade/replacement. I figure i can go with these for a while, then when I do the other stuff like u/lca then I can reevaluate then

    Shocks

well i'd like to stay below $250-$300 and i don't really drag race or autocross, but if anything I'd say it's more of a straight-line car, but I'd like for it to handle relatively well

    Shocks

Well I'm replacing the Fuel pump on my car this weekend and figured while im workin on the car I'd replace both my shocks, since one of them is shot. What do you guys recommend? Havent' done control arms yet and plan to later this summer, but the car a 50% of the time driver. I'm a little...

    What are these for?

it's definitely not helping performance. A lot of people delete the egr when they put a cobra intake on (because the cobra intakes don't have the egr port). The correct way to delete the egr is by tuning around it. I had a faulty egr sensor and my car ran pretty crappy until I replaced it...

    Are shorties worth it?

i'd definitely put the money elsewhere, but if you're set on headers, they definitely chance the exhaust note, but don't do much else on a fairly stock engine. Go with a single flange type if you do go that route tho.

    Buncha Stupid Fuel System Questions

Well I can't take it any more, i gotta go get the stang outta storage and do some stuff to it. I got some 2001 Black Leather Seats (so cheap I couldn't pass them up) to go in her and am looking for some other things for her. Problem is I have a cowl gauge to measure fuel pressure and it only...

    What's going on here . . .

Welcome to the mustang world!!! As Makdaddymac said about the haynes manual, it is definitely a good start. From that, you could probably determine what engine is in it from where the spark plug wires connect to the distributor. Check your timing, check the spark plugs and plug wires, etc...

    Same Feeling?

oh do i miss that feeling. I haven't had that feeling for over a year now. I had my car parked inside the garage of the house I rented before, but now I have an apartment, so mine's in storage. In dire need of a fuel pump i believe... but nowhere to do it. But thanks for reminding me what...
