    Passenger side plugs suck, I don't care what anyone says. The last cylinder by firewall was designed to punish with those damn smog pipes. You need girly hands just to line up a socket on a swivel. Drop the smog pipes, and it's heaven.

    Your first performance mod should always be stickers. Lots of stickers. Prolly start out with a Type R sticker, if your stock blinker fluid can handle it. Then get a fart can tail pipe. And then that's a perfect time to replace your muffler bearings. :D J/K...

    Could your spout be bad? You said you pulled it and plugged it in while running. I'm just guessing here, but I was told not to do that too. Don't know why. But maybe disconnecting the spout while running could damage something.

    Thanks Scott. I ended up using a 2 1/2 inch of the same thread depth you mentioned. And while I was at it, I adjusted the catback to push it a little bit more away from the tank and subframe rail. Cleaned up the rattling. Much nicer now.

    +2 And have an aftermarket cam put in your rebuilt motor for god's sake. Seriously, that would be like falling off a log. Just get a mild cam at least, please (ie, AFM B31).
