Are you offering it to me? I'd be happy to Paypal you a couple of bucks, but I need it by Saturday. Where are you located?? PM me with the info.
Thanks,
WES
Hi everyone,
Next weekend is when I'm going to pull the 2.3T and A4LD out of the TurboCoupe. My mustang 2.3L has a lift bracket on the front of the engine on the driver's side and one on the rear of the engine on the passenger side. However, the TC only has the lift bracket in the front...
I seriously doubt that the NJ State Inspectors know about all those differences. Besides, if it fails all I have to do, according to them, is go to a specific Inspection Station that deals with engine swaps and prove it's a 1988 engine and electronics and then it's held to the 1988 standards...
Just giving myself a BUMP!!!
I spoke with the state inspection people and there is no difference in emmissions requirements for 1988 and 1992 so I'm good with that. Just need that EGR to work.

I see that this thread was raised from the dead. Thanks for the replies. I ended up buying the Trickflow Plenum....I was buying a bunch of things from Summit Racing and thought I'd throw it into the order and give it a try. Anyway, I know that the Trickflow Plenum didn't yield the best...
Greetings from NJ,
I'll be starting the engine/trans swap in a few weeks. The A4LD in my '92 Notch is shot and I intend to swap a T-5 in eventually, but for now I'm just going to swap in the 2.3T and A4LD from the TurboCoupe (taking them out as one piece) just to get rid of the TC and get...
So any pedal assembly will fit, even from an SN95? Any problems using these pedals? I know that I read somewhere on some website that there were problems with the clutch depressing enough if a 4cyl assembly wasn't used. I guess I have to just bolt it in when the time comes and see what...
Are the 5 speed pedal assemblies from the 2.3 cars interchangeable with the ones from the 5.0 cars?? I'm gathering parts for my eventual A4LD to T-5 swap and have come across a lot of pedals from 5.0s, but not many from a 4 cyl. Does it matter? I've heard yes and I've heard no; which is it...
Has anyone used this guage bezel or one similar?? http://www.cp-e.com/products.php?a=page&value=guage_bezel
I'm curious how the visibility is. I think it would look pretty good with guages under the radio, but I'm worried about not being able to accurately see the guages due to the angle...
I am certainly not an engine expert, but I would think that swapping an engine from the front wheel drive Probe into the rear wheel drive Mustang configuration would require a lot of customization and fabrication; motor mounts, transmission, etc. The 2.3 Turbo engine would be a much easier and...
I'd be interested in those pics. If you can email them to me at [email protected] or just post them here, I'd appreciate it. I'm looking for intercooler options for when I swap the TC motor into the Notch.
Thanks,
WES
Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but I have another question: When you put the TC rear end in the Mustang did you use the quad shocks? Also, what Master cylinder and proportioning valve did you use? I know there's a lot of info out there on MCs and Prop valves, but I'm curious about what...
Just so I'm clear: you had the 8.8 rear from a TC in your '87 LX with the 16" snowflakes wearing 225/60/16 and you had no rubbing? Don't mean to sound redundant, but that's the exact set-up I'll probably end up with in my '92 Notchback and want to be sure before I take the time to mount the...
What axle do you have in the rear of your '90 Notch? stock 7.5 rear or 8.8 rear? If it's 8.8 is it from a 5.0 stang or did you use the TC 8.8 rear?
Anyone have pics of them on a Mustang?? My doner TC has 4 nice 16 inch "snowflake" wheels with 225/60/16 tires. I was going to sell them...
Hey Red_LX (and anyone else who wants to chime in),
I was looking at the pics of your '91 LX and saw that you have the red & black interior. Mine is all red and I mean ALL RED!! red dash, red seats, red carpet, red headliner, red door panels; well, you get the idea. I'm...
