    No more hubcaps! Pics...

I don't like the TTII rims either, really their just ugly. There are way nicer rims out there, I have seen some nice once on a few of the members rides. I belive with classics you have to be very careful about adding rims and low profile tires, they need to match and flow with the car styling...

    Boyd Coddington...American Hot Rod

Also I like Overhallin, though the host is hot, she sometime gets annoying, but Chip is awsome, his drawings are out of this world and it accually captures him doing work unlike Boyd. But Boyd knows how to drive a car in and out of a shop like a champian.

    Boyd Coddington...American Hot Rod

Yeah, that is the only thing I am proud of Boyd for, ex'n that fat women out and marrying the good lookin blonde. Of-course you have to wonder why he married that tank in the first place, maybe she was the only one at the time who could stand his antics. ????hmmmmm????

    What to do...

also, my car is in a ground up restoration, so I stripped everthing to the metal. I wouldn't suggest sandblasting if you are doing minor work. Get a little elbow grease in there.

    What to do...

thanks for the reply, let me apologise, I miss typed it above, home air compressors usually don't have the power to warp, but also it is how well you know how to use a sandblaster, and I stated later on down that I would spray any body metal hood, fender etc unless I was planning on ditching it...

    What to do...

Well with home air compressors they lack the power to warp metal, and blasters are great for parts, interior, window area, trunk, and under carage. Or any part that will not be seen as a finished area. I have already done my body work on my car. My friend is doing his mustang now and he...

    What to do...

I was wondering what is the best way to follow after you sandblast the car. Epoxy primer, body work, filler, self eching primer.....then.... or if you have a better methond, and were would POR 15 fit in here.

    Door latch 68 Coupe

http://www.mustangandfords.com/howto/5151/ for the regulator, saves me the time explaining it. http://www.mustangandfords.com/howto/8741/index.html and for the latch. Me, myself, I just completely stripped everything out of the door to restore so my mind is kinda fride from that pain...

    Door latch 68 Coupe

No special tools, but this is a pain to do though because of the space. I will see if I can't get a procedure down.

    Boyd Coddington...American Hot Rod

I don't care if I design cars or have been building them for 40 years, I would still be involved with what is going on in my shop. And the type of personalities that are in that shop spell conflict. It looks to staged. Putting a 7 week deadline on a car like the fastback and all the things...

    Boyd Coddington...American Hot Rod

I am posting this here because I don't really know were else to talk about it. If you've seen the show they build some nice cars once and awhile, I prefer the mustang 2+2 one myself. The thing I want to know is, Does Boyd accually do something or does he just walk around and put his name on...

    REar End Question..pitch or keep

which ever is easy to find I guess, this isnt' going to be a drag or street car, just a weekend driver show kind the 428 CJ put out around 335 to 400, depending on who you talk to. But did the 68.5 mustang come with a 9"?

    REar End Question..pitch or keep

Well of course I am going to install a new suspension front an back, Like I stated numerous times, the car had just about nothing on it, all the suspension is completely worn and shot. I have already stripped it to bone fixed all the body work. quarters, wheel wells, engine bay, floor...

    REar End Question..pitch or keep

would the best bet be to go to a mustang salvage yard (live near 4) and get a 5 lug rear from one of the cars there? Or what. I am going to drop a 428 CJ, it will be a clone car.

    REar End Question..pitch or keep

well I don't care if I get a 8 or 9, the rear I have now is a 4 lug and I need 5 to match the front disk brakes I will be installing. And the 68 Gt rims. I have no use for a 4 lug axle.

    REar End Question..pitch or keep

I am throuing some of my parts away(don't have many). I have a 67 (stripped and body repair finished) I6 converting to V8. Should I pitch the rear and just look for a entire 9" rear? I want the easiest path. What cars would be best to get the entire rear from? I am doing the V8 conversion...
  18. darkness falls

this probably has been answered before but..

my car has 4 lug front and back drums. I was going to do a front disk and leave the back drums but what are some ways to convert to 5 lug so this brack project can go underway. this car is stripped apart to the bone. so this will be a ground up resto 67-68

Should I weld this stuff myself

yeah your right I think I might just buy a welder. it wasn't the cost or anything, I just really don't have the time. I work 12 hrs straight sat and sun then 8 hours on tues and thurs. then college. that is my only issue. becuase I want to take my time, just don't really know. but i think...

Should I weld this stuff myself

Quarters, outer wheel house, 19" of front frame, little pieces here and there. and floors including extensions and torque boxes and outer firewall. I have done some welding in high school but that was 4 years ago. and a mig to rent for a week would be $200. not including the gas. I might...
