    MGW vs Tri-ax

    MGW nuff said, prolly favorite mod on my car along with the first. Also the degree of adjustablilty with the MGW is so nice. I put mine angled at about 45 degrees towards me to make the shifter closer to me rather than the center of the car.

    Not so awesome night

    Yea that does suck, at least you don't have significant damage to your car like I had happen to me because some construction workers are too lazy to do their jobs, I had 2 tires blowout, 2 rims dented, and a trashed axle. The best part is that I wasn't even suppose to drive on this trip

    I paid $600 for a set of chrome 04 oem cobra rims with tires. The tires don't have much tread left on the front though, but I would say $200 would be a much better deal

    I read where it weighs only 15 lbs heavier than the 05-09 models with a 4% reduction in drag for the v6 and 10% for the gt due to underbody panels? going of memory here so don't quote that but i'll look for the link

    After that I would go with a tune, because you have a o/r h and catback plus you have a 4-valve so your gains will be greater than a 2v tune, that is the main reason i got my tuner was for my exhaust

    I completely agree, but no 5.0 or 6speed is the biggest disappointment. All along I have been hearing that the 5.0 will not be out until 2011 though so i'm still holding my breathe. I think the 05-09 rear bumper and tail lights with the rest of the 2010 would look perfect

    I usually get 17 -18 in the city and 24-25 on the highway, i used to get 22-23 mpg on the highway but I used to drive 80, but since I got a ticket I usually drive around 73 or so. I would say a combination of slowing down and the tuner improved my mpg the 2 mpg

    I got a tuner with 93 oct tune and It hurt my gas milage a little in the city, but actually improved it on the highway by 1-2 mpg. It may also be due to my driving habits but who knows

    Yea, i found the write up, it seems very good indeed, actually after looking at my car today it looks like the suspension settled again, it was on a lift for a couple of days so it doesn't seem as bad. I'll try to take some more pics this weekend if the weather is nice, i'm still going to lower...

    Yea, it was messed up, just got replaced and got the car back today. But i give it credit, the car made it like that for about 300 miles with 4 guys in the car + luggage!

    I took a few pics of my new chrome cobra rims, Its not the best quality cause its dark and kinda raining out but I'll take some more when the weather gets better. Also the my axle assembly is posted to show how bad that was screwed up.

    Stock 2004 Mustang Gt :D

    If its a 5sp, get a mgw shifter, best mod for just driving the car and you will not regret it for $200, then I would go exhaust, cause that is the best thing about a mustang.

    I'm finally going to get a new rear end. I have decided to just buy a new ford racing set up for $1460. It comes with the housing of course, 31 spline FR axles, FR 31 spline diff, choice of gears (3.73's or 4.10's), install kit, and wheel studs. I think i'm going to go with the 3.73 gears...
