    Make sure you plugged the solenoid wire back on. It's the small wire beside the power cable.

    The reason it's running bad is because it is sucking air in the leak between pulses. The front 02 sensor senses it as a lean condition and the ECM trys to correct a condition that is not present. It's probably creating a rich fuel mixture on that bank.

    I do see what you are saying. If the round spring clips came off the pads it could let the calipers float up. This is the first I've ever heard of it happening. The actual braking forces are applied to the caliper bracket at the pad ears. The spring clips just locate the calipers to the pads...

    Might be safer to cap the fitting in the manifold instead of trying to remove it. Not sure what size it is but that would be a flare cap nut like this. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/2P173 You can buy these individually at Lowes for a lot less.

    I have these from Discount Tire. Looks like you have to call to order. 1/2-20 is the correct size. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/accessories/tmpAccessoriesWheels.jsp They have a spline drive and come with a socket that fits them. Go in small wheel holes and are very durable.

    I didn't say you should replace the hydroboost! I said mine leaked at the hydroboost. Mine leaked right around the nitrogen accumulator. Check and see where your system is leaking BEFORE you start buying parts. I was just suggesting a place to look.

    My hydroboost leaked for a while but never enough for the level to go down much. Replaced it with a used unit and no more problems.

    Mine screwed up once and I removed it and cleaned it with Gummout carb cleaner. They also stick shut sometimes and cause the car to die at idle. You can free it up with a tap but gum is what causes that too.

    2000 GT motor noisy in the mornings for brief period.

    My 99 does this too but his discription is different than ours. Our cars have timing chain/guide wear. Dunno what his problem is but if I were him I would change the oil and filter and see if it goes away. Use only the Motorcraft filters and I use the Motorcraft synthetic blend motor oil also.
