    Lower control arm question

Any one know of a manufacturer who produces stock LCA's with a push in ball joint for 65/66 cars? I picked up a set of arms at Carlisle this year that are exactly like the stockers on my 66 coupe but have a push in ball joint and the material is thicker...

2 sets of Pro Motorsports Neg. wedge kits

I have a 4 bolt and 3 bolt neg. wedge kit(s). The 4 bolt was on my 66 coupe until I went to tubular UCS's. The 3 bolt has never been on a vehicle. $75 each plus shipping.

Mud Dog Lives - Starting An Engine 101

Gregski, the pipe is the throttle, the guages are a Summit 3 piece 2 5/8" set, the tach is from an old Mack fire truck pumper engine, and yes the tread mill will not be abusing anyone anymore. Still have the rug burns on my legs from being shot across the floor:nonono:

Mud Dog Lives - Starting An Engine 101

Oh and the frame work is made out of an old treadmill (that threw me on the ground one day when the speed controller malfunctioned:rolleyes:...even I laughed)

Drive shaft weld and balance costs

I had the aluminum one from an Aerostar shortened and balanced for my coupe for $120. Seemed a little high to me but no-one else would touch it....

    Can anyone identify this trans

I was in the same boat. 3.80's and a C4 made highway driving "fun". Couldn't even hear the the stereo.... I went throught the same thing with trans choice. I have two AOD's and the 4r70w but wanted the T5. Then I picked up the second coupe and the wife "stole" it from me:p At least I have a use...

    Can anyone identify this trans

Yes it'll bolt up to any windsor engine. The 3.8 has the same bolt pattern as the V8. I have a 97 3.8L T5 (same torque specs as the 93 and earlier V8 T5's) in my other 66 coupe. I used the 3.8 bellhousing, a 164 tooth flywheel, and King Cobra clutch in that car with only minor issues, due mostly...

    Can anyone identify this trans

Yeah F4 would mean 94 or later. I was told on another forum that it's out of a 94 t-bird or cougar 3.8l 4r70w same as aode. Which works for me because the 4R70W is the best of the AOD tranny family, good to 300-350 HP as it sits, good to 500+ with a shift kit & cooler. Just need to get a second...

    Can anyone identify this trans

I was giving this with some paper work showing it was rebuilt, listing parts, etc... I was told it's an AOD but I'm pretty sure it's a AODE. PKE-H2 F4SP-DA 4T 097630

67-73 Mustang, 66-70 Falcon, or 66-70 Fairlane ceramic coated headers

I had them on a 68 that I sold to a friend of mine. He wanted to go back to stock:rolleyes:so I kept the exhaust system. Most of it wound up on my 66 coupe but the pass. header wouldn't clear the shock tower, so they're up for sale....

Cobra brake conversion problem (new one to me...)

Okay I'm finishing up my Cobra front brake conversion and I've run into an issue that I haven't read about before.....I installed new pads on used calipers and rotors (rebuilt and cut surface) but I can't get the calipers back over the rotors. I have the pistons fully compressed (checked 5...

67-73 Mustang, 66-70 Falcon, or 66-70 Fairlane ceramic coated headers

I have a set of ceramic coated headers for a 67-73 Mustang, 66-70 Falcon, or 66-70 Fairlane with a 289/302/351 Windsor engine. They are Hooker 6102 Super Comp headers. In great shape but the collectors were cut off to use the slip fit connectors that were on my old car. Summit Racing sells these...

    Suspension porblem has me stumped....

Not yet. The alignment that was on the car was good when I picked it up, but that doesn't matter at this point. I'm debating on buying the alignment tools and doing it myself. No one around here will touch a pre-1968 vehicle at all:shrug:

    can anyone identify these heads?

Not sure of the brand. There are no markings or stampings anywhere on the heads that are obvious. They look like my TW heads on my 66 coupe. Just wondering 'cause I picked them up for $750.

    Suspension porblem has me stumped....

Decurion, I'm leaning toward that myself. I'm putting on a set of adjustable units anyway so I'll see if what happens. 2+2, one for each side. I leave them in in place of one shim.
