    Since all tires are different I tend to run 6-8 # under max. Due to diff. side wall stiffness and rubber compounds. You can always do the chalk test to test your contact patch.

    I just talked to the guy at Mustang Parts and he said they used to have the 5W30, but after running out Mobil 1 would not grant them access to have more made. So I'll just have to wait till someone else has them. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bang: (I've already got the metal (5W30) decal. :)

    It's not a Mustang, but my wifes Monte Carlo SS rolled over 80,000 and it still has the tires it left the showroom with. Not a big Goodyear fan but these have lasted a good while.

    You wouldn't happen to have a throttle body spacer? After I put mine on the 99 GT I have the same idle problem. I also notice it just driving around shifting gears, the idle will stay up or go up another 500 rpm between shifts.
