    Dyno Costs

I'm trying to find a place in the Des Moines Iowa area to dyno tune once I add a turbo or supercharger to my car, by the end of the summer. The only place I can find charges $150/hour to tune the car on a chassis dyno. They would charge 100/1st hour and 80/hour after to have it just overlooked...

    Mac or BBK header Opinion?

The BBk should fit with the rest of the mac exhaust on. I would recommend the BBK over the MAC anyways, I've had both and i don't like the mac, it keeps warping because it isn't a single flange to the heads, causing exhaust leaks, even with copper rtv.

    Deciding my bolt on combo.....

how about thread sealer for some of the head bolts I believe when I got mine explorer intake gaskets, there were some kits that came with both the upper and lower gaskets, and some that have them individually. I wouldn't go to the auto parts stores, those gaskets are about twice as much as...

Still don't know how to jumper something

ignore the push on connector for now, to check if the injector is working you can stick like a pushpin into the wires in the injector, one to the ground and one to the power wire, then put a test light to it when you try to start it to see if the injector is pulsing like it is supposed to. the...

Still don't know how to jumper something

basically jumper is either connecting a jumper wire ( a wire with alligator clips on either side) to each side of a terminal, or for the starter, when you look at it, the two bolts sticking out on the starter relay (starter solenoid). One of them connects to the battery and the other the...

    Fuel problem diagnosis help

Alright i went to start the car for the first time in about 2 months and it took it a while to start. I put a fuel pressure gauge that goes to the cowl panel to monitor fuel pressure from the shrader valve. I also put on a kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator. well when I start the car...

Getting ready to replace head gaskets...any tips?

+1 on the labeling of bags for the different bolts. I used those ziplock zipper bags just to be sure nothing fell out and I tell you it was a heck of a lot easier finding a bag of like 3 bolts than one that may have rolled off the bench or something if I hadn't used bags.

    Suspension setup suggestions

I know there is all kinds of info via a search, but I'm looking to narrow down my choices. So here goes the questions: I am going to get some steeda full length subframes. They are a little more pricey, but I think they are actually more "form fitting" than some of the cheap knock-offs. Is...
