    Strange as it may seem, I am not really interested in racing it. I enjoy what I get out of it without going to the track. I might change to 3:73's and see how it goes. I just bought a Hurst billet shifter for it, so I might go for the gears next once I get some more money together.

    I am never going to take my car to the track, so would you guys recommend 3.73's or 4.10's ? The car is a 5 speed GT and is not my daily driver. I can't see why I would need 4.10's under these circumstances. It currently has 3.31's.

    DOING 160MPH

    160 ?? On a closed course my car barely gets to 120, never mind 160. I haven't had it flat out but I can tell you it doesn't seem like it has much more, and that is with a Steeda 93 tune and their CAI with high flow elbow.

    Wash - Meguiars Gold Class with wash mitt Dry - Sonus drying towels from Autopia Polish/Wax - One coat of Klasse All In One followed by two coats of P21S carnauba wax (I leave 24 hrs between coats) Interior - Damp cloth All done by hand - I don't have a rotary buffer. Colin

    "clunk" sound when shifting

    Funny, I have a black GT too :-) It has 2000 miles on it but when the transmission warms up it sounds like it has 60000 miles on it or more. It's fine when it's cold, maybe the occasional lurch, but when warm it seems to grab when I let the clutch out and seems a lot noisier. Time to go...
