Don't know why I missed your first post, but " welcome to my nightmare" .
I'm not an ssp owner but we got a member from Hawaii that's got two of them, hope he.sees your post.
I bought the 72 Monte in 1995 and drove it as my daily till 2005.
I bought the 93 mustang in 2007(7/7/07) in Vegas baby! And she is been my daily since then, just for the recod.
I daily drove a72 Monte Carlo for ten years, loved it.
Daily drove my93 stang for 19 years till my recent liver transplant ,after recovery ill be back daily drivng her.
I think the kids would get a kick out of driving to school in it.
Warning : the 93 is the newest car I've ever daily drove.
Great to hear your back and feeling better.
I'm down with a liver transplant ,recovery is slow and my stang Milky is sitting collecting dust for the first time in 19 years that she's been my daily..
I personally would drain that water out and refill with distilled water. Run up to temp and then drain that,if any water is left it will mix with coolant and distilled water is what you want with coolant.
Well that's something I never thought about doing $$$.
Milky has been my daily since i.got her, its been 19 years.this past July.
Being the frugal :leghump: that i.am I did add up the cobra brake upgrade I did,$1,700 including rims and tires.
Pete, you can figure this out I'm sure. Just take your time, its not your daily so you got all winter to do this.
There is a ton of videos from professional trans people, watch them as many times as you need and get at it.
