I Blame @bird_dog0347 for this one. I wasnt looking for another project. But he found this one down is TX. It was a rust free solid TX coupe with a 85-86 front end. So after he looked the car over for me. I bought it and had it shipped to the shop. So…Im going to get it rolling. I bought a drivetrain out of a wrecked 2021 GT500 so maybe it fits this car. We’ll see.

You might want a new hood and a better hood latch though, the old one will scratch the paint. Looking forward to seeing this one get built too!

This could possibly be, the Baddest Ass 4-Eye on the planet.

If it's anything like I am imagining at this point: Anybody that drives it better feel the threat before they get in it. It will keep them from dying.

No idea what you have in mind for colors but Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan... I can only [imagine] what OEM Graphite Gray would look like coming out of [your] shop.

I think it's this one?

Maybe it'll be the first fox my wife actually likes! She hates the way the foxes look, but her favorite color is Gray so perhaps you can win her over. My older sister's first car was an 86 Notch 2.3/5spd in Dove Grey.

Well, if I use the new shelby’s drivetrain, I’ll probably use the new shelby hood and interior in this car. So maybe less fox like.

So, as it turns out... I'm an Admin!

I'm going to do something with this and get the Featured Threads positioned on the pages that I want.

Featured content

stangnet.com

Since this will be my favorite so far ( I just know it No pressure but don't screw up ), I'm going to take it out on this thread.

Standard body procedure. First strip the panels to bare metal, metal work and dolly the panels…then epoxy, which is a direct metal primer and seals the metal. Block again. Then 2k primer to set the base for body fill and blocking to get them laser straight.

Picked up my hood from HO Fibertrends and started the body work. Guidecoated and block with 180 to start. Then some good wet primer
