My Buddy has a 2001 Cobra and when you hold the clutch in and break for a while, not downshifting, the engine will cut off. I was wondering if this was some safety thing or what. Does anyone know what this could be???
Thanks buddy, I'll be sure to pass on the info, its not a real problem unless your a total idiot and cant tell that the car has shut off. Has anyone else experienced the problem. It dosnt occur all the time, only once in a while.
my 02 gt was doing it. id be cruising along, push in the clutch, hit the brake and start turning-and it would go dead. it was the Idle air control valve going out. had it replaced-and hasnt done it since.
