Hey everyone I need some help, I recently bought a 97 cobra. I had the IMRC cleaned. The car ran good for about 300 miles then out of no where started to do the bucking thing. Got it home and put code reader on it. Codes came up lean bank and was told possibly change maf sensor. When I scanned the maf sensor part on the car it came back to Nissan. Does anyone know what maf sensor i need to purchase as the Motorcraft numbers I get off the internet and I can't find to purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Which codes exactly. I can't imagine the car runs properly with a random "nissan" maf in it. The housing appears correct; sensor visibly looks correct - what part number is it coming back too?

Is it dirty? any vac leaks anywhere or exhaust leaks prior to o2's?
Codes are p0174,p0420,p0171. The maf sensor part number in the car is mf21343N. I also just recently changed the air filter.

Yep -thats certainly not the right MAF lol.

Ebay - there are a ton of them I'm sure. I don't have that year car so my part number won't help.

F6ZZ-12B579-AA Maybe is correct when googling? Need to measure your housing to make sure it's the 80mm or just buy a FULL housing/sensor off ebay/scrap yard.
