Had my driverside head go bad again . I have 214 thousand miles and head shop only found 1 bad valve.go svt

So what was the cause for the bad head? A valve? Can you be more specific?

That's amazing that the car has that many miles on it.

The valve seat tube moved down and the valve hit the piston.electric fan broke car over heated water in cyl. Where do i get a head set

You can purchase fully assembled heads directly from Ford.

Steve at Tousley Ford has the updated heads in stock all the time, They've gone up a bit recently but he can still gaurantee the best price on a set of new Terminator heads or head.

I believe its just north of $1900.00 including $300.00 core charges for a pair. Shipping averages about $90.00 for the set. Divide everything in half for just one head.

They are complete, loaded heads, full valvetrain and cams already installed.
Call them at 1-800-328-9552 ask for Steve or Kevin.

Im looking 4 head gasket and bolts.sent both heads 2 shop. Shop wants 350 for head set ?

Shop wants $350 for gaskets & head bolts? Call Steve at the number listed above and see what price he quotes you, bet it'll be much less.

Also the head that the valve problem was the updated head

You sure about that? When was the head replaced last? The first 1 or 2 revisions to the '03 head did not have 9-thread spark plug holes. Does your current have 4 or 9 thread spark plug holes?

It was replaced by ford at est. 65 thousand miles .my passenger head has 4 threads.head shop repaired the head and did a 3 angle valve job for 500 dollars.the bad head has 9 threads .the same cyl was the bad 1 last time and it war an exhuast valve. What do i do with the half moon marks on the piston?
