Normally i'd agree that T/C is useless, however it has saved my ass in a few instances. It sucks in snow period, but there was a time i downshifted from 4th to 4rd to pass a car on a wet road. As soon as i rolled on it in 3rd the rear end started to step out. Before i could react and lift of the gas the T/C kicked in and saved me.
There have also been other instances.
On dry sunny days in the summer time, i shut T/C off, but when it rain, or in the winter time when the roads are covered in snow/sand/salt/wet leaves...i leave it on.
