I was out with my friend who has an '03 GT and he said something about my car looking lower. Well I put my hand between the tire and fender lip and mine is definitly 1/4 - 1/2 inche lower. Was this an official change or could the variation between cars be that large?

hmmm, interesting.

make sure the car is on a complete level and flat surface, if the car is parked on the side of the street the designed curvature of the street can affect the relation of the wheel to fender. I have taken pictures where it was visably noticeable with the same springs depending where I parked.

There seems to be a big variation. My car from the factory was a good .75 - 1.0" lower than a guy I work with that has a bone-stock '02. Its just a noticible manufacturing variance.

It probably has to do with the initial install at the factory. Some of the cars seem to be built with the springs pointing in different directions.

Yea I have noticed that too, mine seems lower than most other GTs...and some just look jacked up.But I am keeping the ride height right where it is, I like it, + I have bottomed out before LOL so I dont want it even lower, especially when the LT or mid length headers go on.
