04 t-trim problems

ok so I took my car to a shop and they said I had a lower end knock. The car is in my garage and I started it and no knock just a ticking sound. Like I figured if it were a lower end problem it would of locked up I have drove the car and had it running probabally hours since the shop said this.

Ok so first I checked the plugs all good but two the last cylinder was a little dinged up but the gapping still good and the first cylinder was totally dinged up and no gap (which is why the cylinder was not firing and causing rough idle). Then changed the oil ran it through a stocking No metal shards and the oil was oil color but when I was about to pour the oil in the oil cap had white goo in it? but not in the oil

Lastly when I had the car in the air the ticking noise was underneith behind the front wheels (not the oil pan) maybe the tranny but why the spark plugs? or I put a new mac catless prochamber on could there be a ticking exhaust leak or the piece that ate my plugs now in the exhaust because I used a magnet inside the cylinder and couldnt get anything.

Any imput would help my neighbor told me to remove the valve cover but I really dont want to unless i have to/.
