What's up yall? I am new to this forum and I just got my very first mustang, an 06 Saleen SC S281 . I was wondering if anyone has an 05 or 06 mustang saleen S281, and if they did any mods to it. I was wanting to change the muffler and maybe a chip or cold air intake system. Has anyone done any of this or should I not do anything to it. Also if those mods would void any warranty. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Congrats on the new car! Nice choice for your first Mustang

The first mod that jumps right out at me is the 475 HP upgrade kit from Saleen. This kit will void your warranty as it stands right now.

Hey thanks for the info.. Man that sucks..It comes straight from saleen and it still voids the warranty.. Damn..

Well if you are patient it may be covered. There are rumors and whispers... Saleen is looking to upgrade the 2007 SC cars to 475 HP total.

Nice...Would you reccommend changing the muffler on it? Or not? I kinda want it to be a little louder...

I'm sure you could cut out the stock mufflers and weld in new ones. It'd definately be a custom job though due to how the current system is designed. I don't think many people have done it as a result.
