Hi guys. I have a chance to get a 2005-2009 Steeda CAI with 90mm MAF for cheap locally. It looks like the one FRPP re-branded to use in the GT-H rent-a-racers they built a few years back. It has the stock style inlet tube, but I'd have to use the one for my 2010 anyway because of the different shape. It is just the MAF housing, filter, and heat shield that I am concerned with. I know this was a great CAI for the 05-09 crowd, but I'm not sure if I can make it physically fit in the 2010 engine bay, and if a 90mm MAF is a waste of time on my car (same motor package as 05-09 I know, but not sure what MAF ford has under my hood in the factory tract). Is this worth adding to my 2010?

Intake in question:

I believe it may be doable IF you relocate the power steering reservoir on the 2010 back to the location it was on the 2005-09 cars. But that is just a theory just from looking at the cars visually, we have never tried this.

I know that can be done, because some of the other guys out there mandate you to move it. What size MAF comes factory in the 2010? I'd hate to spend the money and time to swap in the same size. I know the redesigned Steeda CAI for the 2010 has a +5mm bigger MAF.

2010 has an 85mm MAF, the one you are looking at is a 90mm kit.

So is it worth messing around with? I can get the one in the pic for $75...I know I'd need to redo my tune and I don't know what Brenspeed will run me for an adjustment...I am also watching a nice one on Ebay and might wait it out....
