I can't find a P1689 DTC in my 2005 Ford reference manual. Please double check the code or give more information where the code came from.

The code p1639 the car start but thats it no aceleration thank yoy

Have you attempted to re-program the PCM? Hand held tuner? Seems to me there's more to this story.

P1639 - Vehicle ID Block Not Programmed or is Corrupt

Description: This DTC indicates the vehicle ID (VID) block is not programmed or the information within is corrupt.

Possible Causes:

• New powertrain control module (PCM).
• Incorrect PCM.
• Incorrect VID configuration.

Diagnostic Aids: Program the PCM to the most recent calibration available.

I try to program with sct to original tunning before I have procharger what I can do thank you

Hi how I can program the key to a new computer, the computer is ready with vin # and milage but the car no start you can see a lock in the panel thank you

• Call a lock smith
• tow the car to the dealer.
• disable PATS with a hand held tuner.
• DIY'er re-programmer such as ForScan or autoenginuity
