I seen a 02 body style mustang with a 05 body style front bumer on it. Does anyone know if that is a kit or it they might of made it there self. It look great and seems to fit perfect.

yes, there is a kit for new edge stangs to look like an S197. check the back of your MMFFs from mid 05-mid 06. somewhere in that timeframe, there were ads for the kit.

IMO, dont do it.

I really don't think it looks that bad. It would have looked descent if the S197's didn't exist

without louvers, altezzas and a wing it might look ok lol i bet if they scaled down the designed a bit it would look cool, the s197 is simply bigger

It would look good if it had the stock tail lights, take the wing off, and take the fog lights out of the grill.

I actually like the rear bumper and the sideskirts look like Cobra's....the altezzas suck however as does the whole front end IMO.

I saw a pic of one some guy posted on the internet, it was silver without all the ricer stuff on it and it was still VERY UGLY.

If you want to look like an S197 then buy a real one not some body kit.

I actually like the look of the S197 front end, with the lines and rear end of the New Edge. Looks kinda mean. I agree though, the gaudy "ricer" enhancements would have to go. It's too bad it's so expensive to perform the conversion.
