Does any body know how what the production numbers are for 06 for the GT 500s?

What are the expected delivery dates for the 06's? have they all been delivered?

Job 1 starts the week of 6/5 on the GT 500. No definite number has been set to my knowledge. I have heard total numbers (coupe and vert) from 7500 to 10000.

The #s have been set 7,070 for the US in 07 and 7,335 for the US in 08. The Mustang brand manager is trying to get production increased.

I read that the GT500 will be held up a while do to a crankshaft problem. They say the cranks are breaking at the harmonic balancer, on the outside of the block. Someone posted this on another thread, maybe another forum, not sure, but I read it about a week ago.

I posted an update in the GT-500 section. The GT500 crank probly appears to have been on some early prototypes that didn't have all the real production parts in the engine. Job 1 date is currently a go for 6/6/06. If no other problems appear the first GT500s will be released for shipment to dealers on 6/26/06.
