Installed xm radio shaker 1000

What a hassle... had to find an old school xm receiver that used an fm station .. I have an 06 gt convertible... no USB ports .. ( the world before USB ports) i took apart the center console and the radio ect. ... I hid all the big power port extensions and wiring above the radio i couldn't use the center power port because I didn't want to cut any original wiring... my 67 stang was much easier to install the xm ...

I guess I was lucky. My Shaker 1000 had a plug-in inside the center console that I plugged into my Smartphone and set the dashboard stereo to "aux" and was able to play my Sirius XM through my Cell Phone. No dash destruction. No chewed-up fingers.
